Hello Deer-

Your friends are very fortunate to have you in their lives. I wonder if they wanted their daughter to reconnect with a loving and generous sage (Our Izzy) who knows how to triumphantly negotiate this planet with its  joys and vagaries...
As for your point on "visiting time", your observation rings so true. So much is lost in dealing with minutia, unless that is made a part of the visiting as well.
