I DID IT!!!!!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE.

I did it.  I have just written my 20,000 word thesis, going to the printers tomorrow to have it bound.............cartwheels, large yelps etc coming from here.  Thank you all for your support.  Remember when I could not write that first paper!  Well, still find writing difficult but am pleased with my work and am confident that I will get through.  Boy, but this has been a journey.  I have learned that I love solitude, could happily spend the rest of my life reading, thrive on deadlines, work best on my own, am motivated when I am interested and in awe of the wonderful ideas people manage to come up with..........and write about.

A special thanks to all who held my hand through that painful first paper.  The voices are still there, telling me I cannot do it, but are in the distance and I have learned to be gentle with them rather than try and silence them.

Gotta go and check some footnotes and other then that, that is me done!

so glad to hear about your victory.

Learning to be gentle with the negative voices.....

just as important as persevering through the doubt and difficulties of writing those papers, IMO.

I am so proud of you.  You have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time.  Your accomplishments are an inspiration and encouraging.  Thanks so much for the report.  Way to go!!
