update about work.

I still have some problems with eight graders. They disrespct me a lot. But, the difference is that my coworkers support me, and help me, and my boss helps me and supports me, my boss is the best boss I have ever had, she tells the kids when they go to complain to her,

"You want to be spoon fed by Miss Lupita"  "You want that Mss Lupita to do your work" Do you think that in high school the teachers are going yo do all the work that miss lupita does for you? She works very hard for you"

I really like my boss. She is four foot tall and she commands respect and outhority. I appreciate her very much.

Lup......I am very happy for you.  But I have some advise.  Stop teaching middle schoolers!!  They are so disrespectful and goofy.  It takes a saint to teach them!!

Thanks Lea. Overcomner, thank you. I cannot teach high school, it is even worse. So, I have to overcome the middle schoolers. Only the 8th graders.

Very good things come in small packages (your boss)! 

This is such good news. Maybe you'll learn some new tricks for dealing with the 8th graders from your boss. Maybe those kids simply are needing good, clear, firm boundaries - even tho' they think they're too old for them.... maybe??

You can continue providing information, and choices, for your students.

Some don't have the tools to navigate school/the world yet. 

Some do.

Just stay calm and focus on the positive..... accept things as they are and don't wish they were different.

I am learning. I had two friends who are very marcissistic. I just pushed them away from my life. I felt very sorry for them, but I do not want them in my life.

For the first time i go on a vacation with out fear. In peace. Knowing that my boss like me. Thta my coworkers some like me and some tolerate me, but there is no hate.

The secret:

You tell them nice things about their work. Positive things about what they do. Shwo humility and hunbleness and they will react to you with sympathy.

I did not know that. I had recieved so much negative info into my brain all my life that I da no idea what it was to say nice things to others and that they would return to you with nice things too.

That was my most recent discovery.

I love my school and I love my boss and my mentor and my assistant principal!!!!! some are jealouse of all the love I am getting. But I am wprking so hard for my students and for my school that they realize it and the love me back.

I never enjoyed so much woring hard for a shcool.

My life has changed!!!!!!!!!!!  180 degrees.

Thank you Hops. It is learning disability for me, I have a learning disability for human behavior, some kind of a dislexia for humans that I am still overcoming at 52 years of age.
