Hi everyone,

Things are so serious here mostly. Let's talk chocolate!

What is your favorite kind of chocolate to eat?? Do you like pudding or chocolate covered ants?

Lately, money has been a little tight so I've been just getting candy bars.
Have you seen the limited edition Kit Kat bar. No I'm not doing placement advertising!  :)  It has white chocolate on the outside.

I love to get Ferrero Rocher at Christmas.

What does chocolate do for you? Some say we need chocolate -- at least women do... Do men need chocolate too?

I think I'll go buy some chocolate right now....bye

Cadbury Royal Dark Chocolate bars.  Of course, I will eat nearly anything that is chocolate though.....

See's candy (made in California) - Specifically the cafe aulait (sp?).

Heaven in a bite sized morsel.

Can’t resist this one Flower! I have in front of me a bar of Lindt Excellence 85% cocoa Dark Extra Fine (Swiss but made in France, it still tastes good). Yes that’s 85% cocoa and it does taste wonderfully chocolatey and bitter at the same time mmmmm!

I was once bought a box of fresh-cream-filled Belgian chocolates. I don’t think anything has come close. I fantasise about finding them again. They were huge too, about three times the size of a normal choc in a box. There were about 10 in the box. The stuff of dreams. Thanks for a very enjoyable thread Flower! I’m drooling…..P

Hi Flower,

Great thread! :) Just about any kind of chocolate will do me.  I especially love Milka bars.  Those are a little hard to find sometimes so most of the time I indulge in Ghiradelli baking bars.  I like to keep them on hand just in case I feel like baking   .

bye,
Lisa

Hi Flower & all...

I hope you enjoyed the chocolates you went out to buy yesterday hehe.. I like Ferrero Rocher, too.

I don't eat chocolate near as much as I'd love to, but I get my fill when I reeeeally need it  :)

I love the boxes of assorted chocolates.  I can never make up my mind when it comes to which treats to have, so this is a good solution.

I also like white chocolate.

And finally, my parents had these things out in a dish last xmas, and for the life of me I literally could not stop eating them...  I'd never had them before.   I'm from out of town to them, so I stayed at their house for xmas, and at 3 am, I wake up and pinch a few from the dish (all too close to my bed!).  I noticed out of all of the treats put out in dishes, all of the guests were going for them mostly, too.

I can't be sure at all, but I think they might be called cripsy critters or something...   They come in both choc. & van. flavor and are just a blob of chocolate covered with nuts & rice flavor...    They were just soooo good!

My mom told me what they were called but I forgot, and very purposely have not asked her again, because I honestly don't want to buy them here.  I know I'd eat them like crazy...

What fun! I haven't had the emotional energy to contribute much lately but I think I'll jump into this vat of swirling dark delight. Ritter's dark chocolate (about 55% i think)-that's it for me. My husband, like Portia goes for the 70 -85% stuff - now that is serious. I  just sent some to my daughter and a friend in Iceland!  Thanks for the post. Nice to lighten up now and again!

Hi Les,
I've been lying low lately as well, but am sending you a huge Hershey Hug!
Hope it helps you keep up your strength!

I like Dark Chocolate with almonds or peanuts - mmmmm - and good for you, too!
