More stuff about new jobs, etc.

Hi, all...........so I am back at the bookstore.  I guess my mom is kind of depressed.  Depressed that the consultants told her what she didn't want to hear.  Then she cannot bring herself to move out of "my" office and has called it "our" office.

So I had an application in as GM of a beauty store before I ever left the furniture store and went back to the bookstore.  I had an interview last week and I feel I have a good shot at it.  Same money....

And I want to take it.  Even though I kind of won the battle (short term), I think I will end up losing the war.  Mud said it....do not trust her.

She will flip but I am so excited about a job with NO ties to mom.  Just ME!!

Any thoughts???  The furniture store was really a stepping stone OUT....................I still do not LOVE my store.  It just is not mine.  It will always reek of her and her arrogance......

Well, you guys got frustrated with me but all the while I was complaining I was gaining the resolve to MOVE.  Now I DO have a voice and I am so psyched at being FREE!!!!  If they offer me the job.....it is MINE.  I prayed that if it was God's will, that they will offer it to me...

You guys....thank you!!  It feels so good to have friends that give me affirmation.  I know for so long I just bitched about the predicament I was in.......sometimes it JUST takes that FIRST step.....

My mom holds no power over me!!  I have effectively irradicated her from me.......she still infiltrates my psyche sometimes but it is easier to shake it off now..

GS.......here is the scoop, you DO have it.  It is deep within you.  For me it took a total breakdown over 7 years ago and then the scrappy determination to break free.  I love the movie THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO with Jim Cavezial as the Count.  He was imprisoned for 12 years but when he got out he was victorious and got his pay backs.  I think what goes around comes around and eventually we break free from our parents and they do not know what hit them............you can do it....

I think it's not so much that you don't trust her.....I think IT'S YOU TRUST YOU NOW.   You know she will come back Full Circle no matter how much changes have been made they are only made with *plans of control* eventually, more and more.

And Kelly is out...contract Null and Void...She didn't live up to her part of the bargain.

Good for you Kelly.  You sure have found your Power and your Freedom. 

Your so different.  You have come so far.  I see no anger.  I just see.....excited, planning, confident...moving on...like you said...

Well, I got a call from the District Manager and she says she is really interested in me.  I am excited.  I am thinking about doing both.  Going into the bookstore once a week to check on the progress pf the store........I cannot wait to feel so victorious.  The furniture store was like prison but itt was a way out of my real prison....like I said before, a stepping stone to real freedom.  Being the GM of this new store will put me on top to shine.  I can do a great job and be proud of myself.  Not arrogantly proud but feeling good about who I am and what I do proud....

It is wonderful...
