send white light
« on: February 13, 2009, 08:16:33 AM »
Hi guys,

I am not being a ninny (so far) but am nervous about a mammogram.
Had a distinct dark dot in it. Haven't got the report yet and am
hoping not to spend the weekend waiting.

My right boob would be delighted to receive your good vibes.

I will let you know as soon as I do!

thanks and love

Yikes.  I will pray for you that your boob is well!!  It is sick being a woman.  Periods.  Menopause.  Boob flattening procedures in the name of preventative medicine!!

Hops:

I too had the same ominous dot... and when they looked a little closer they realized that it was just the density of the tissue that caused this. This density also interferes with x-rays, I found out. I do agree with their "better safe than sorry" approach, though... because anything discovered early is usually completely correctible.

I wiill hold your image (that I'm completely making up in my visual mind) in the center your natural "halo" of kind, gentle light.

Hopalong, I've gone through that, too. Thankfully, it was nothing. Prayers have been raised for you for peace, a good result and good news soon. Is there a possibility you'll get some news today?

Got the word... my boob is jolly, nuttin' to it!

(Lord, never allow me to look again at something ominous looking that I am not trained to decipher.)

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Thanks, all, for the understanding.

(Yes, I was a ninny.)

Oh, Hopsy--

I read this post too late to send the light ahead!  But I don't think that time counts in these cases  :? so I am sending it retroactively!

I had a scare like that--and it is truely ninnifying.  Don't feel bad.

Love to you, Hops.  I'm so glad you are okay.  Doesnt the sun look brighter today since that good news?

Yes indeedy!
I went to a little dinner dance last night and felt girly, really had fun!

These things do make sunshine brighter. All the little pleasures glow.

A renewed sense of wonder at life itself. Gratitude. Perspective on the economic panic

I went through the same thing earlier. At 21 I was told (by my Mom, bless her for reading the Post and remembering the name of the drug she was given while pregnant with me) that I'm a DES (diethylstilbestrol) daughter and had to be monitored every 3 months for a rare form of vaginal cancer. When they told me they wanted to do the colposcopy that often... I remember that afternoon I felt a deep awareness of the hum of life, just walking around. There was fear and solemnity but also an amazing aliveness and vitality.

(Over time the defective tissue slooooowly corrected itself and I was able to carry one pregnancy and now I'm normal!)

Hah.

xxxxxoooo
