Seeking Carolyn and saying hello to All
« on: July 15, 2009, 10:47:03 AM »
Hi Everyone,

It is good to see some of the same people here...Lupita, Ami, Hops, and many others.

I've been missing you all and hoping your journey of recovery from the N's in your life has been going well.

Carolyn, if you still read the board I really miss you and would love to check in. I've deleted your email address from my email account by accident. Please stop by the board, I'm sure that others would love to hear from you too.

Hope everyone is well.

Lise

Hi Amber,

How great to see you! Thank you. It is nice to be here and to reconnect with some people who were so kind understanding and helpful at a time when I was struggling so much, you all were so supportive and gave such compassion and understanding!

Love,
Lise

Hi GS,

Good to hear from you. Thanks for asking how I am. Well, I'm better than I was awhile back when I was healing the NM wounds triggered by N-saint, the pain at times seemed endless. After the anger in my heart started to subside I found myself dealing with a great deal of shame, it was as if under the anger was raw hurt and then under the raw hurt were deep pockets of shame that made me think about the term "Shame Spirals" which always makes me laugh, but so much of the painful healing experience is that exactly that...A Shame Tunnel that you just have to trudge through or ride the pain out until it passes...fortunately for me most of the "old" pain has passed. But, now, I am dealing with life on life's terms pain. I'll survive though. I really do appreciate your asking how I am.

How are you? I'd love to take the time to catch up and read where you are at in your healing. You were one of the many heroes here that have the courage to face healing which I greatly respected.

Hi Lupita,

Good to hear that you are still trudging that happy path of healing. I'm still struggling with my addiction to smoking and working through my selfishness.
