Hops and Logy, I definitely know what you mean! Out here, you will go out to the edges of town, where there are new neighborhoods planted in what used to be pastures. Everybody plants grass that doesn't naturally grow here, and then waters and spends an outrageous amount of money for the water and fertilizer. And what do you get? Something that looks utterly silly! A small patch of lawn that is so green and manicured it looks like Astroturf, surrounded by waves of buffalo grass and cactus.
