Bones the difference between a two-year-old and an N I think is the fact the two-year-old will let it go pretty soon...but a grown woman to pout about a bunny for 4 days????????????
I hear ya!!! I had a similar situation with NDoofus. We were at a festival where, at one table, a group was making lotus lanterns. I commented how beautiful the artistry was then walked on to look at the water gardens. As the festival was wrapping up and we started to head back, one of the ladies from that particular table walked up to me and gave me the largest, most beautiful lotus lantern I had ever seen! She was a total stranger and I was deeply touched that she gave me such a gift. It was completely unexpected! I bowed to her and thanked her and she also bowed as is the custom in her native land. As she walked away, NDoofus started screaming LOUDLY...I WANT ONE TOO!!!!! (And this is coming from somebody who's 50-something!!!!
) I looked at NDoofus and couldn't help but think "WTF?" The lady that gave me the gift completely ignored NDoofus, which REALLY pissed her off!!!! Then she attempted to DEMAND that I give the lantern to HER because SHE WANTED IT! I told her, "Nope! Sorry!" (Why should I reward bad behavior?) At that, she attempted to SMASH it! (She failed in that too!) Her whole attitude seemed to be: "If I can't have it, then I'm going to DESTROY what you have so you can't have it either!" I would say that NDoofus was displaying typical N-behaviors. Now I am NC with her.
