Gee, I had two in one weekend.  Here goes the second - from N stepdaughter (who I am having difficulty going NC with because H "needs" her in his life).  She just arrived in town to see her mother, rang us, and said she was coming over to see her stepsiblings (my kids who have not seen her in a year).  When she got to our place, she said she could only stay for 20 minutes because she had to get back to her mother's place to walk her mother's dog.  My H had gone to school to bring the kids home early so they could visit with her, and she only stays 20 minutes!!  Couldn't she have walked the dog before she came over?  Freaks - all of them.

Bear, that story made me laugh! One of the best things I get out of this forum is when I can read somebody's else's story like that, see the humor, and then extrapolate to see the humor in my own family's ridiculousness! (ridiculosity???
