IT'S ODD HOW WE PERCEIVE THINGS!
My mother was NOT an N, (so I feel out of place on this forum) but she said 'redding'up, yet I knew she meant ridding up (of junk...to tidy..just a small difference) and never thought ill of her because of her farm-type upbringing. She also said 'Warsh and Wrench' and I knew she meant wash and rinse. I never criticized her, as very early on I just knew it was what she had learned from her parents.
This is where we must all think about our parents\upbringing, and if we don't know, then it could have been all from your old grandparents from the olden days. Things were so different, and I think only TT and I are of about an age, and yet we differ on certain things...
My paternal grandmother bragged about outliving 3 husbands, and none of the 3 had seen her naked. Well, where/how does a statement like that get to/affect a young girl....one who has a beautiful body and wants to wiggle it in front of a guy? or one who has been told that a female body is ugly and should never be seen????
I NEVER saw my parents share the same bedroom!!!
Did any of you??? Did you know what happened?
My daughter took for granted that her father and I slept together when she was 7-8 and before she asked me about sex. Never a problem for her, until it was a difficult time explaining a BJ to her at about 11, while she 'blahhhed' out a bite of her tuna salad sandwich at lunch time.
"Did you have to tell me that when I äm eating?
