EEG
« on: July 20, 2010, 05:47:30 AM »
Tomorrow I am going to have an EEG done. A while ago I fell in the shower and hit my head. Because of amnesia I can't remember what happened, the amnesia must be because of the concussion I suffered. So tomorrow my brainwaves will be checked. I am very curious if something will show up because of anxiety caused by an abusive childhood. I think this is possible, is it not?

I'm very sorry you bonked your head and I hope the EEG shows no lasting harm.

Keep us posted, Lucky.

Luckily everything is fine. However I found out that a 27 year old girl I knew from an other forum and that had been abused during childhood/teenage years has commited suicide. It appeared she had developed borderline because of the abuse and after lots of struggles and therapy she decided she could not go on.
