Does anyone have any ideas with how to deal with the control by proxy from and Nparent? My Ndad has enlisted the help of my invertedNmom and possible Nsister and 2 brothers to get the end result of our capitulation to his demands. We tried to inform my sister of the control and expose my Ndad as a N, but she immediately went to Ndad/mom and told them. We haven't tried to linform my brothers yet because of the bad response we got from my sis. Any suggestions?
I would simply make a decision on the demands and do whatever I wanted despite any proxies pressuring me. They can get angry, disappointed, enraged, or whatever they want. I'd withstand their emotional storms. Then they will see that I'm not to be pushed around. And if they're a little afraid of me that's okay. The main thing is that I will be treated with respect, period.
And I wouldn't bother trying to teach proxies about narcissism. That's trying to "get them to see" my point. They don't have to see it. They just have to see how useless it is to push me around.
