Boat, that's good news about the computer! To work around the MS Office issue, I'd recommend downloading the free Open Office, which has a word processor that's very, very similar to Office and can open Office's ".doc" and ".docx" files. Here's the link:

www.openoffice.org

The only downside or difficulty you might run into is that this will be a big download, so your internet connection speed is rather important. You need lots of bandwidth and for fastest download, a wired broadband connection. That said, wireless and wifi have come a long way in the last couple of years... so if you could find an empty wifi coffee shop... and have the time to hang out until it completely loads... with your fingers crossed and nice words for the computer gods... you could actually be in business!

Look - hon. What would happen to us, if we stopped complaining? I think of an image like a balloon person... with air pressure building up, up, up & up... and we're on the verge of over-inflating with the pressure until either the seams come apart -- or the seal to the air line fails... and we go: sssssppppppppppllllllggggggghhhhhhhh! and fly around all over the place erratically.... and then gently, limply drift back down to earth again... a mere flat imitation of our former self. Until the pressure starts blowing us back up again.

Complaining is a pressure release valve!  Just like a good fart will make room for another piece of pie.
