New Illinois Adoption law

In Illinois, we can now request an original birth certificate with the names of our birth parents.

And apparently they will just give you one.  It will have the names on it or not, depending on the preferences of the parents.

I am going to do this, but I am so sacred . . . . somebody please egg me on!

egg salad!
eggs Benedict!
eggs and sperm!

You go, girl.

Knowledge is just...knowing information.

I'm excited for you and no matter who/what/how, you are open to knowledge because you're asking.

Bravo!

(You WILL be able to cope/process/handle whatever you find out or do not find out.)

Yep, I agree too! Just go get it. Anything - and possibly everything - else... will be another step and you'll have plenty of time to consider, think, feel... what it is you want after that.

You are entitled to know. And you may also be able to research medical histories... which could be important.
