another reason I stayed here...LACK of censureship

I am noticing lately that some people would like to censure certain topics and our free right to discuss them...is THIS not another form of voicelessness?  I think yes.

one of the things I have LOVED about this board, is that I feel truly FREE to talk about whatever topic I desire.  Why NOT have a section where pagans could feel free to discuss their beliefs or Unitarians or Agnostics...I don't have to visit those sections, any more than someone has to read my Christian posts.  Right?  I think that seems constitutional to me.

When I had the first disagreement with my now-pal, Bean, way back when I first came here, Dr G hardly stepped in or said anything for a while.  I felt at first, unprotected, ignored, and kind of like being in the middle of the ocean without a life-jacket.  Let me tell you something though...BECAUSE Dr G. didn't step in, I learned how to talk to Penelope Bean and to accept her differences and care about her as a person, in order to come to a workable relationship of a sort on this board.  At this time, she and I see each other in a positive light and occasionally you will see us engage in pleasantries on the board.  This NEVER would have happened, if someone would have "fought" either of our battles for us.

I say, "DOWN WITH CENSURESHIP! KEEP THIS BOARD FREE AND LET VOICES BE HEARD!"

I'm sorry, bean...I really thought your actual NAME was Penelope.  That's why I always called you that.
