If it were not for someone telling me the truth about myself, in my twenties,...I would have ended up killing myself or drank myself to death. Sure, people had been trying to tell me the truth for a long time...but, I was just not ready.
However, the day that I WAS ready, the seeds of truth that others planted in me, at the risk of my anger, saved my life.
Thank heavens there was someone who was not a control freak and not trying to keep peace at all costs...thank heavens that someone was willing to risk being unpopular with me and others to tell me the truth, otherwise, I would not be here today.
I respect people who tell the truth, even if it means, being unpopular and losing the peace...for there IS only one truth...that is why we have justice departments and lawyers...to help get to the bottom of spin and illuminate the truth.
