Brian, read your post on the other thread.
You are worthy.  God is not "out there", it/he is the essense of all of us, of unconditional love.  In that way, God does indeed have a heart...it is yours, now use it to love yourself...at least enough to allow some help in.
I have had therapists that didn't work out for me, too.  Just try another.
