Happy Holidays from me - down under
« on: December 24, 2005, 01:40:06 AM »
Hi all in Nth America - I am fortunate enough to be in sunny Australia for the holidays. It is so hot down here that even the dogs have quit barking. However those jolly red gentlemen are still around in all the stores.
I am staying with some nonN  military "relies"  which is an Aussie abreviation for relatives.(Pronounced "rel -eze").
They live in a resort town called Noosa which looks like Palm Beach FL.  Lots of ladies with deep suntans and white clothes and gold chains..
Anyways it is great here. Y'all should come on down real soon..

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all on the board and especially to my Mom, Brigid.
Hey Mom, did you sell my Mustang and rent my room?

Yo David,

Great to hear from you. Have you spotted any penguins yet?  Did parents call to wish you happy Xmas or vice versa? Have a great one, and come back to to the board soon  to tell us all about it.

David, dear,
So good to hear from you again.  It is interesting that you have found the money to travel down under to oggle all the bathing beauties, but haven't paid me back for funding that "little mishap" you had last year (don't worry, I won't share the details with the others here   :?).

Honey, I told you before that I had to kick out the renter, as he was cramping my style with the bf and we're just having too much fun with the Mustang to sell it (more details I am unwilling to share with the others).  I am managing to get by and at least all my needs are being met these days .

In all seriousness, David, I hope you are having a wonderful time with the Aussies.  I am so jealous and would love to make a trip there some day.  Have a blessed and fun (not too much) Christmas and New year.

Hugs,

Brigid (your loving adopted mom)

Dave,
Since you don't have your truck there to get from place to place I wish you a very wonderful Momma kangaroo with an extra-roomy pouch so you can...

Happy Holidays to all from Michigan, where a month-long freeze has ended with rain for the holiday.  How I wish I was sunning myself on a beach down under!
