Court coming up this Friday

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I battle XN yet again in court.  He is fighting for overnights  during the school week with the children and for a reduction in Child Support....both of which he motioned last year and he was denied.  I am really hoping to get my attorney fees this time since X N is doing nothing more than Judge shopping.  It's costing me another 4,000.00 to keep this monster at bay.

I'm feeling the stress right now and was hoping to feel a little love from the fine folks on board here.

I don't get a chance to post that often and for that I apologize.

you are saddled with an idiot.  at least you have your beautiful children out of it.  Well, if he has so much to spend on attorney fees, why does he need a reduction in support?  What are the numbers? Does he spend more on lawyers than he would save on the reduction?  If you are going for attorney fees, get time off work, etc in the bargain.  Don't worry, I think it ought to be obvious to anyone what an ass he is.   I send you strength and light and truth to battle this nutcase.  And keep calm.  Don't let him extract the price of your serenity from you as well.

I can't tell you how much your support means to me.  Reading the responses has really been an uplifiting experience me.  It's like my own little personal pep rally.

Cadbury...I remember your story.  How is the baby doing?  I battled the X N during my pregnancy with my 5 yo and the war continues. I pray that you won't suffer the same fate.

Plucky, ...X N would rather pay an attorney thousands of dollars than pay me a penny of child support. He's a very sick man. Doesn't care that the kid's college $$ is going out the window.

Brigid...the kids are doing remarkably well considering what's going on.  I try to shield them as much as possible.

Im working on flight plans back to CA court, I must face my EX after 10mos. He too has his priorities and idea about money all messed up too.
The thought of seeing him gives me a headache and when my daughter tells me to say hello to her dad and give him a hug for her I just don't know what to say.

The money part is very stressful puts me in a bad mood and having to think of seeing him drums up all kinds of emotions. I will keep you in mind these next few weeks as I prepare for court and having to spend money I don't have to fly back to CA to sign the divorce papers.

Current OSC, allows me physical and  leagal custody with supervised visits. I don't think the judge will change this part and maybe my N-ex will try and change it, we will see what happens on the 31st.
He says he will never give up and try until he gets custody....

Hi Mia,

Baby is the most beautiful bundle of joy. Such a happy little boy. He is at his plump and edible stage which is divine. He sees his sperm donor once a week for an hour. I stay in the room. all this will change soon as exN is breaching a court order by not providing medical evidence asked for in August. I am getting better at being mean! I haven't posted much because I really find it a struggle sometimes. I lurk around and read things and that helps.

I hope that this will all be over soon... for all of us! ExN is trying to build a rocket that will make NASA obselete (can we say grandiose ideas of self-importance anyone???!!) so he will hopefully be moving away from us soon. (I pray, anyhow).

I hope all of us that are still suffering at the hands of an exN idiot get peace before too long.
