mud,

Tonight and in the coming days other realms shall be summoned on behalf of your wife and your family.  My heart is broken for you all.  How frustratlingly human I find myself in that there is nothing more I can offer you from the confines of this screen and keyboard.  As you move through this most difficult challenge I hope you find, at least, some peace in knowing how many are standing behind you in full and loyal support.  God bless, Mud...

Muddy,
There are no other words to say but that I am so sorry.  I hope you can feel my hand holding yours--I'm not letting go.  Hang tight, my friend.

Many blessings and Hugs,

Brigid

Oh Mud!!  That is very difficult news!!  I'm so sorry for all that you are both going through.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Mud & Mrs. Mud)))))))))))))))))))))))

You do have a couple of very wonderful assets that will see you through this.

1.  Your absolute love for eachother (what a miracle!)
2.  Your strong faith in your Saviour (another).

Bless you both in your time of need.   How is your D holding out?

You and your family are in my prayers still.

She starts chemo today.
As she hasn't had any chemo before we are hopeful it will put it into remission and then follow up hormone therapy will keep it there. Metastisized cancer is not curable but it can be held in check for years sometimes when it is still limited to the bones as her's is. She is fortunate in that she has the type of cancer most responsive to hormone therapy.
She is a woman of great faith and is at peace with whatever the outcome is.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.

Mud,

I think you do have a lot to hope for.
It is true that the chemo should be helpful since she hasn't ever had it before now.
(That is something I just learned this weekend as a matter of fact  :))

All my best to you and the family.

Hey mud,

Just dropping a line to stay I'm thinking of you and yours and to let you know my prayers are with you. And some scripture to uplift:

You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted, you encourage them, and you listen to their cry. Psalm 10:17

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God, our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. II Thessalonians 2: 16-17

Don't forget to take care of yourself as well, mud

Tiffany

I wish you strength and best wishes now. I hope the chemo blasts "it" right out. You are such a lovely family.
