Good Leaving the N Jerk Songs??
« on: May 07, 2007, 04:17:56 PM »
Anyone who can suggest any good songs which portray the story and feelings involved with an  N jerk/girl leaving scenario?

I'd appreciate any suggestions, since I am compiling a list of songs I can mix for my N when I walk out the door.

Stupid Boy--by Keith Urban remains at the top of my list so far.  It says sooooo much for me.  But I will consider anything you can think of.

Gone----by Montgomery Gentry is another I just found.

A few more:

It's Too Late----Carol King

Tuesday---Yaz

Off The Hook---Barenaked Ladies

Breaking Point----Eric Clapton

Landslide--Stevie Nicks

Pretending---Eric Clapton

Do You Remember---Phil Collins

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing----Jack Johnson

Must Have Been Love---Roxette

Cry Me  A River----Timberlake

Anyway, you get the idea---my N likes to consider himself a musician so I'll speak to him that way and maybe he will finally hear me ---though I doubt it, but it will be fun!  Gotta have a little fun after all he has put me through!

Thanks for anything at all---anything inspirational too would be good---hang in there/be strong songs for me to listen to and hang in there on my home stretch and while I make my final plans to get out!  His days are soooooo numbered!

Namaste,

Sunny

I Will Survive--Gloria Gaynor (also there's a hysterical viral video of it, starring an alien in a disco)
You're So Vain--Carly Simon
Hit the Road, Jack--I forget who...

Sing loud, Sunny!

Hit the road Jack, Ray Charles,

Or one my daughter likes: Beyonce, Irriplaceable

To the left
To the left
To the left
To the left
To the left
To the left
Everything you own in the box to the left
In the closet that's my stuff - Yes
If I bought it  *edited*  please don't touch
And keep talking that mess, that's fine
But could you walk and talk at the same time
And It's my mine name that is on that Jag
So remove your bags let me call you a cab

Standing in the front yard telling me
How I'm such a fool - Talking about
How I'll never ever find a man like you
You got me twisted

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I could have another you in a minute
matter fact he'll be here in a minute - baby

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I can have another you by tomorrow
So don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable

So go ahead and get gone
And  call up on that chick and see if she is home
Oops, I bet ya thought that I didn't know
What did you think I was putting you out for?
Cause you was untrue
Rolling her around in the car that I bought you
Baby you dropped them keys hurry up before your taxi leaves
Standing in the front yard telling me
How I am such a fool - Talking about
How I'll never ever find a man like you
You got me twisted

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I could have another you in a minute
matter fact he'll be here in a minute - baby

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I will have another you by tomorrow
So don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable

So since I’m not your everything
How about I'll be nothing
Nothing at all to you
Baby I wont shead a tear for you
I won't lose a wink of sleep
Cause the truth of the matter is
Replacing you is so easy

To the left
To the left
To the left
To the left
To the left
To the left
Everything you own in the box to the left

To the left
To the left

Don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I could have another you in a minute
matter fact he'll be be here in a minute - baby

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I can have another you by tomorrow
Don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I could have another you in a minute
matter fact he'll be be here in a minute - baby

You must not know about me
You must not know about me
I can have another you by tomorrow
Don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable

Or another I like , Bon Jovi,

Would you be content to see me crying
After all those little games you put me through
After all I've done for you you're lying
Wouldn't it be nice to tell the truth

Didn't somebody somewhere say
You're gonna take a fall
I gave you everything
Now here's the curtain call

[ Chorus: ]
Shot through the heart and your to blame
Darling you give love a bad name

Now you've come back here to say you're sorry
But I don't know who you're talking to
It could be the man I used to be, girl             (Just turn this part around)
But I've grown up and now I'm over you

Standing there just a live wire
With nowhere left to turn
You were gonna set the world on fire
When will you ever learn?

[ Chorus ]

Didn't somebody somewhere say
You're gonna take a fall
I gave you everything
Now here's the curtain call
And I'm shot...

Baby does what baby please
And baby must have what she sees
But not this time, the tables turned
Baby, you just got burned

[ Chorus ]

Love
Deb, This was one of my favorites
