If you are wounded legally, morally, etc, you will NOT RECEIVE SYMPATHY FROM A NARCISSIST, once you are on their "bad" side.

The narcissist will team up with the very one who wounded you, side with them about your problems, and BETRAY YOU WITH A KISS (Judas), by associating with your mortal enemy!  The narcissist sees NOTHING WRONG WITH ANY OF THIS and cannot understand why you would BE SO UPSET ABOUT IT!  (DUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!)

A narcissist wants their entire history of abuse to be WASHED AWAY, by everyone acting AS THOUGH IT NEVER HAPPENED.
They are the FRIEND WHO TREATS YOU LIKE DIRT

As a parent, the narcissist is someone who treats you like dirt, dumps garbage on you once in a while and then feels better and is ALL SMILES the next day, confused why you aren't also.

It's all PLAY ACTING IN THE HOME WITH THE NARCISSIST.

When living with a narcissist, you either want to GET FREE or BITE BACK.  You are left feeling that you either have to be BAD or to BENDOVER and take the abuse, cause LEAVING JUST ISN"T AN OPTION.  "If only I can just make SURE her coffee is ready before she asks me."  "If I would just have not argued about that."

REMEMBER, let the dysfunctional narcissist OWN THEIR OWN BEHAVIOR, not PROJECT IT ONTO YOU.  Own your faults and admit them, but God never called you to OWN another person's indefinitely!

Blessya'll.  Thank you for allowing me to share this info.

~Laura

P.s.  To the dysfunctional people in my life...I STILL LOVE YOU and as much as you have pushed me away and devalued me, you can NEVER doubt that!

Thank you so much, Laura.

It's been great reading everything you posted, nodding my head through it all.

I've been thinking about "Antidotes to Narcissism" and posting some of the anti-behaviors we can do to cope and/or STOP the N-behaviors of our loved ones.

I will be thinking about it and keeping a list to share later. I wouldn't mind if you beat me to it, you are so good at this. (She said hopefully...)

Thanks again - so very helpful.
