I got a call today from NH- He left a message, said that he wants me to meet him somewhere and sign over some property. I would, except for the last encounter- I won't speak to that jackal again, and don't fancy a shotgun in my midst. I must work furiously to finish- took off school again- I think I'm going to move, anyway, I have always wanted to travel and never had the chance.

I have a locked gate and dogs- I am clearing out and staying elsewhere- must find a suitable place for the pets, so they stay here for the present. Will have workers here when I come.

Don't like the sound of that and I don't like the idea that he wants to 'meet' you somewhere either but you already knew that, right?

I don't like it either.  It gives me giant creeps.  All such inquiries and communications should go through a 3rd party such as a lawyer.  A lawyer's office is the ideal venue for any meetings, also.

Thank you for caring and bringing so much to my attention. I will not even answer my phone at this point. I have given the info to my lawyer regarding the weapons, his psychiatrist's name, etc, and am serious about not being near or talking to NH again. I made the mistake of working myself to death getting his things out, only to have him lie and not even take them- his things will be moved to storage last, right now the cats are sleeping on them out front. If I thought signing would end things, I would do so in a heartbeat. I had suggested mediated divorce, which is much more thrifty and quicker as well. Now, I want my lawyer to handle it all, no matter the expense- I want out, and I want to move most likely. I can live better in another area anyway, and I have been offered full scholarships and living $ at ABA schools- even if it is too late, I can go elsewhere and apply again. I have no desire to duke it out with a fool- sometimes you lose, against all odds.
If he barges in, he will have to hire a locksmith who will be here, and if I am here at that point, I am leaving straightaway.

I promise. Thank you for your concern, I know that this is serious. I'm sticking with my puppy-dog Samson today, he has a huge bark and hears everything, and will leave tonight, when people are out on the block. Thank you for being a good friend and keeping me on task!

Please talk to the attorney you found at the college, eh?

I hope you're not saying you'd have to drop out of law school?
Do you mean THAT kind of move?
 
For a bodyguard, how about a security cop from the campus?
Might do it for a pizza.

Hi Hoppy-

I will never ever again speak with that bagworm again, ever if I can help it. As for seeing him, that goes double. I will split, pronto. I don't care if the lawyers get the lion's share-no mediation, no court appearances, nada- lawyer only. He actually had the nerve to say that he trusts me, etc- well I don't trust him, and it is worth the cost to keep suchlike scum from my midst.
