Ok, so last night, my husband opens his drawer and he had been chatting gaily with me for a while, and suddenly, upon seeing that he has no clean underwear, his whole demeanor changes and he starts his usual tirade of "Why don't I have any underwear in my drawer?  I can't BELIEVE this!  You can't even do your job like you're supposed to.........blah blah blah"  (by this time, my headphones were on my ears and I was drowning out the drivel with music)  I went and grabbed him a pair a few moments later.

I crawled into bed when the beast finally went into his cave and was snoring.

This morning, I told him basically that he'd get some romance if he didn't complain about his underwear tonight (I was being seductive and playful)

His response, "I just don't see why you get so UPSET!"

I laughed and said "ME???????? HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA" and then headed into the house to relax.

PROJECTION IS THE NAME OF THEIR GAME EVERY TIME, ISN'T IT!  SHEESH!  UNREAL!

It is never "yeah, honey, I'm sorry I really lost it last night over something like underwear."
Rather, "I just don't understand why YOU get so upset over things"

THEY CANNOT BEAR TO FACE THAT THEIR BEHAVIORS AND ACTIONS ARE WRONG WRONG WRONG!

Dear Laura,
Humor comes about b/c life ,essentially , doesn't work. Also, They don't call marriage an institution for nothing. (routine over)                                Love   Ami

Imagine how odd the world would look if everything that went wrong were somebody else's fault.  If your brain functioned normally, you might notice how ridiculously impossible that would be.  You would realize that everybody makes mistakes.  But inside the N mind, no such glimmer of truth shines.  Imagine how skewed reality would have to be, in order for one to find oneself absolutely faultless 100% of the time.

Good for you, no GREAT for you that you can laugh.  It is pretty humorous to watch.  A little bit of concern becomes explosive frustration and suddenly one's marriage partner is acting so fooish it's LOL funny.

Okay.  Now imagne if somebody with a mind like that could become the leader of the free world.  Still funny.  But not quite as funny when you think of that kind of mind facing all of the world's serious problems.  Imagine...
