Quick Hello to All
« on: March 28, 2008, 03:49:47 PM »

Yesterday I talked to, shouted tearfully at, and said I love you to my mom during the last hours I spent in the house.  Then, late
afternoon was closing and signing all the papers.  It's been so difficult, but it had to be done.  I took lots of pictures.

The good news is the new owners are really nice, and are very excited about moving in.

I'm about halfway through the estate business- my mom had things pretty well organized, and I truly appreciate that.

Still need to send out thank-you's.  I'm my own worst enemy on that kind of thing.  I want to say something appropriate and
heartfelt to everyone, so I make it into something bigger than it needs to be and I fall behind.  Ah, well- as they say- better late
    than never.

I'm really behind on reading the board.  So many new people writing, so many oldies not writing, yet good to see the names I do
recognize as well as the new ones.

So good to hear your voice.  So glad you are making so much progress an a difficult passage of life.

Still need to send out thank-you's.  I'm my own worst enemy on that kind of thing.  I want to say something appropriate and
heartfelt to everyone, so I make it into something bigger than it needs to be and I fall behind.  Ah, well- as they say- better late

It is not only better than never it is actually better than sooner.  A heartfelt note is valuable no matter when it is sent and it is impossible to send them all at once and impossible to meet your own standard because of all that you must tend to.  A heartfelt note is far more valuable than a timely one.

Take care of yourself - you are loved here - your friend - Gaining Strength

Thanks for your comments.

Izzy -  Yes, overall a good day.  I know that in say- 30 odd years from now?- your daughter will appreciate your organization, too.

Ami -  Thanks for the wishes for love and peace.  I wish them for you, too.

Hops -  How I wish I could have been a champion daughter.  I didn't do too badly, but there were a lot of things I wish I could have
done more lovingly.  Thanks for the encouragement.   Keeping the vigil with you....

Gaining Strength -  Your kindness is not glib sugariness, but true sustenance.

Overcomer -  I appreciate your cheerful encouragement, and I get a kick out of the unintentional typos you make when using your
phone.  I get to play word games when I see them, and it brightens my day.
