Haven't heard anything yet. Damn, my nerves are strung out as thin as a baby's hair. The guy called me Sunday (!!  ) afternoon and said he'd be letting me know something by Tues. at the latest. (I'm up against 2 other candidates.) Tues. came and went and no word. Called him back Wed. a.m. and he said he was working on it right then and would let me know "one way or the other" by late afternoon. No word. Now I can't reach him - only his VM.

This is no fly-by-night operation; this is a company who bids for and gets government contracts - one of the largest of its kind. They are already 3 weeks behind schedule. Waiting is making me nuts.
