  I've been out of commission for a while due to a procedure.  I'm finally feeling a bit better.

  There is a lot of catch up reading I need to do to see what's been happening with everyone.

To All - I've been doing some of that catch up reading, and have enjoyed reading about familiar and not so familiar folks on VESMB. I
           hope everyone posts updates about their lives.

Some Good News !  My doc promised I would be recovered enough to go on the Alaskan cruise that had been planned since last
                             July, and I think he's right.  Still a few bumps in the road here and there, but I'm mostly just fine. It's a good
                             thing, because it's fast approaching !

It was five months on the 7th since my mom died.  It's still pretty rough at times, but not every day.

Thanks for all the updates.  I've been out of pocket a bit myself, but pretty active here for a week or so lately.  I'm glad you'll get to carry on with your cruise plans.

I'm glad to hear that you're mostly just fine and that the rough times aren't daily. Same here... and that's a blessing not to be discounted (reminding self).

Yes, very much so, I have completed my researching and read, I am grateful to Lollie for signposting those 2 books, which have given much enlightenment, and so now, I do feel that I understand, as best as I am able - as to the reason "why" regarding the behavior of my abusive perpetrators.

So, that was my quest and hunger, to know the reason "why" and I feel now, having forgiven, with healing (ongoing I feel sure) - I can "Let Go"

Thank you, for asking, you are most kind and thoughtful to do so, and please know that it is very much appreciated.


My two kitties - are adorable and give me so much pleasure, they are siblings, and so sweet.  They are so playful and loving too.  Wherever I go, they follow and sit with me.
