Can you give more background on your question?  I don't understand.

As I understand it, we can learn about how our feelings are affected by outside factors, such as what happens, how we interpret it, what our expectations are, and how we can act to help ourselves feel better.

So, to that extent, we can be helped.

Yes, I believe we can be helped with the way we feel by getting to the root causes of the feelings, figuring out the triggers for the feelings, and then taking measures to "manage" the feelings.  I believe that feelings that cause depression, sadness, anxiety, etc.  require a form of management and good coping skills because the feelings may be with you for a lifetime and may never really go away, what is critical is knowing how to handle yourself so your feelings will not bring you down or cause you to be incapable of having a full life.
I think sharing your experiences with others who have similar feelings is validating and courageous, and if you can help someone feel better when they know you are having the same difficulties, it will help you, too.

"I find that your fears are often explained in your dreams, I fear loss or in a simpler term loneliness but at the moment I am alone, but I don’t feel as alone when there are people to listen to what I have to say or people I can help." this is an extract from the book im writing it explains the question i asked first from my point of view :!:
