What fun is life without drama? Am I sick ?                 Ami

Ami, IMHO, life without drama is ...

fun
peaceful
pleasant
joyous
happy
interesting
engrossing
fulfilling ...

If you belong to Facebook, try this experiment: Find two or three people that you KNOW are always creating or participating in DRAMA in their face to face lives. Find two or three other people who don't regularly do the drama thing. Go to these people's Facebook pages, expand their profiles out for at least six months and read their posts. I can almost guarantee that, for the people who are always engaged in drama --- their profiles are BORING. The SAME. It is always about them and about their petty little dramas. But the people who are not into regular doses of drama --- their profiles are much more likely to be interesting and to have posts about all sorts of subjects --- quotes from their favorite authors, pictures of them having fun vacations, knock knock jokes, thought-provoking insights on politics or religion or social issues.

That's my opinion ... when I use the word drama I mean all the emotional hand wringing that goes with not having anythng more interesting to think about than one's self!!

Of course, when you think drama you may think Broadway!

For my after christmas present to myself, I went to one of those personalized stores and bought a pretty gemstone bracelet that could be engraved. The heart charm says "Breaking Free Brings Great Rewards".  Its a reminder to myself of many things I am consciously making an effort to leave behind from 2009 and there will be great rewards coming for my efforts.

Yes, in short, its all about no more NM drama for me. Literally, I have one small financial matter to clear up with her then its NC from then on. And, ironically, my brother is NC with her and has been since November because of her meddling in his marriage, which might lead to divorce.... so,ironically, we might both be NC, for different reasons and we can't even agree on her problems!  But NC nonetheless!!

I found a "no drama" sweatshirt on cafepress. Here's the URL:
