My Mom had me at 40 and here I yam! I was a month early.
And my daughter's father mother had him when she was 46.
 (Oops! Well, she was a manly woman...h/t Mud.)
No complications, and he was 6' 4" and a genius. (Straight As throughout school/college.)

Planning to take the plunge?

Is this one of those trick questions where we're supposed to figure out who is related to whom?
I'm drawing a blank myself.

confusion reigns supreme

 :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

My daughter's mother is me---

I was over 40 when my daughter was preggers--does that count? --that was easier on me

Suddenly it all makes sense, Hops.
Admittedly unsolicited but suggested rewrite of the first post: "My ex's mother was 46 when she had him".
Would have saved a lot of pixels.  :D :P

I got pregnant at 39 and freaked out.  I was nervous throughout my entire pregnancy from the online crap I read one night and vowed to only read positive things.  My baby was perfect.  She was almost 3 weeks early as I had to be induced for high blood pressure.  I never developed Pre eclampsia but it was high enough for them to enduce me and I was able to deliver naturally. I turned 40 during my 7 month of pregnancy and my baby was a bouncy rolly-polly 8 pounds 2.5 ounces!!!! :P :P :P

wow - thanks for the stories and thank you Hops for the humor. I'm not taking the plunge I was just curious about others who had. And, for the record, I am 42 now. ugh. an ugly number.  :x

Hey - 42 is just a number!

Twins at 40!!  All went well.

Note of caution:  Keep Nmom out of delivery room and hospital.  In fact, don't even tell her until it is all over (and the baby is in college.)

I think you've confirmed my worst fear - that when I leave white space above and below my posts, I'm wasting pixels?
Or are there pixels only where the print is?  Looking forward to your kind, sweet, and thoughtful reply...
