Kitty update:

She's home, and her bratty little sister kitten went to summer camp for a few days so that Big Sis Kitty could continue to recuperate in relative peace. Bratty kitten came home at the beginning of last week, and I had a week's vacation [ending today, it's back in harness for me tomorrow] so I did day trips and stuff and kept an eye on them.

Her incision is completely healed, she has started to frisk again, and she's lost a little weight but not too much too soon.

When I brought Bratty Little Sister Kitten home, I set her on the bed next to Big Sis Kitty, who started purring louder than she had purred at any time since I brought her home. For the next three days, Little Sis stayed next to Big Sis almost all the time, and just let her sleep. They were so cute together.

Oh, that's really sweet! I'm glad your kitty's feeling better, and that your other one is so comforting to her.

She'll soon be sicking up hairballs on the carpet soon, don't you worry...!

Have been "in absentia" for a while from the board... work has been crazy but my old lady's been quiet.. a good thing!

So happy to hear that kitty is healed and getting back on track! They are such terrific little life forces, aren't they???

That little kitten is good for her, she'll keep her young!

Dear Storm,
    How is your cat doing,today? I am thinking of adding an addition to my "family. Maria bought me a long haired , silken Yorkie(I think is the name) for my birthday. I said that I have to have a trial ,though. If Henrietta(12 yr old Standard Poodle) does not like  the new dog, then Henrietta comes first and i can't take her.
 My loyalties need to be to my old, devoted friend first.
  I have never had 2 dogs. This is the first time ,as an adult, that I have had even one.
  Storm, I think of you often and your little fur babies.I think about how much love and comfort they give us. It is at a level even deeper ,in a way, than human love                          Hugs to you  Ami

Last night I was thinking about you and wondering how you were. I'm really glad to hear from you. Sorry things are such a thrash at work, glad your OL is relatively quiet.

Yep, cats are good.

You'll like this - and so will you, Ami & Beth - the older one wanted to be hugged and snuggled tonight. I love it when they ask, when they sidle up next to you and lean on you and make little prrting sounds [the older one actually makes little kitty barking noises], when they snuggle their little hands up under your palms, when they reach out with their paws and pull your hand over to pet them [yes, I had a boy kitty who did this, and little bratty kitten is starting to do it too, entirely on her own.]

Such love - such sweet, true, uncomplicated, sane and healthy love.

   Just wanted to let you know I read "True Love" and it brought tears to my eyes and longing to my heart to have a little kitty in my life again.  I console myself with the bond that I have with my "nephew"- my best friend's little black poodle.

   Glad your kitties are well, and thanks for sharing them.

Kitty update... she had her second post-op exam this week and came up NORMAL. No calcium oxalate crystals...
