I'm just sitting here, realizing the long journey I have just taken to get to where I am right now in my life.

When I first came to this board, I was a mess, having been just ditched in the relationship with X and former best friend.  I was looking for a place that would tell me "yes, Laura.  what you thought about those situations, was NOT your imagination.  There really WAS dysfunction going on and those people definitely had N and BPD traits.  Well, I found just that.

After some time, I outgrew the need to really dwell on the whole n and bpd and personality disorder stuff.

Now, I'm at a place of really delighting in some of the other topics that come to the board.

Just where I am  and was...blessya'll

Funny how you migrate through life.  I was obsessed with my mom and the trauma of working with her.  Now I still work with her but I have learned to set boundaries.  It depends on the day.  Occasionally things pop up but I, too am in a much better place.

I agree, Laura and Kelly!
