email problem - please help!

how do i delete my email from showing up? this is a huge mistake! what did i do wrong?

Ales, if you mean that your email address is showing on this board on your posts, relax -it isn't.

I can't see your email.

I can see my own email (little envelope by my name) but I bet you can't see my email? I hope!

okay = now I've noticed other people have an envelope too and when I click on it I get their email address.... what is up with that? I thought I turned mine off... help!

No envelope, click on the person's 'handle'-- it will say 'hidden'.

With an envelope (except for yourself) click on the person's 'handle'---likely will see an address.

I see my envelope, but you won't.... but click on my name and you will see 'hidden'.

Your email is hidden to all of us and anyone who comes to the board.
If you can see someone else's envelope it's because they have chosen to make their email available to others.

thanks everyone! I'm a little paranoid - I guess, but its not so much about someone having access to my email address so much as I think we are all safely anonymous here and if thats not the case, I just needed to know. Thanks!

It's not paranoia, in fact it can be pretty disconcerting.
This issue has been brought up by many people, many times before so you're not the only one who has been taken aback.
