Select the text you want direct from the post and hit Ctrl + C (copy).
Hit Post Reply and then dump the text in your reply box, Ctrl  + V. Select the text in the reply box and hit the Quote button in the toolbar above...

Of course this only works for one block of text so you might select the whole block and delete what ya don't want.....
