Yup.  That's my only choice, me'thinks, Amber.

I also have my list of past renters to mine.

Out of all the B&B narratives, I am most excited about the bull sharks.

But I am a simpleton.

Seems like Airbnb is willing to step up and do the right thing.  Will likely know today.

Well, the service rep took the complaint in hand and found no evidence to support it.  It's been dismissed and the rep didn't have to go that extra mile.

Faith restored in Airbnb.

Two 5 star review rentals after the "incident" and things seem fine.  Lord, give me strength.

I might go in the fall to build a garden.  Hanging out for 5 or 6 weeks might be just the thing.  Will see.

Ordering Lesco N-Rich fertilizer for the palm trees at the Cottage. All the older palm trees died...not sure if it was a particular storm or lack of care.  I wasn't there to witness their demise.

I was told to use this particular fertilizer by someone with huge palm trees on a canal with a huge house he built with his lech friend.  Is that too much in a sentence?

He's helpful, but always brutally honest and cynical to the point I rarely contact him.  I do want the new little palm trees at the Cottage to survive though.

Guests had an early check in today...they boated in....will fish most of the time.

They just now let me know they arrived...are content and adore the Cottage.

Immediate gratification is not quick enough, but waiting was easier this time.

Well....
the patio door rusted off it's hinges.
The last guests put it back and bolted it shut...a group of guys, apparently strong and not easily flustered.

They had a great trip.  Sounded like little kids with an ice cream.  Fishing and enjoying the Cottage, which requires a bit of ex-pat spirit, if I'm honest.

Not for everyone, but perfect for some.

A tree fell at the cottage.  Sparking wires and a ruined electric box 6 days before the next guest shows.

A bucket truck has to be transferred from North to South on a freighter and getting the right parts seems like a time consuming job, IME.

::crossing fingers::.

Ai yi yi.
So much stress!

If I hadn't come to slowly realize you love all challenges, I'd ask why?

Hope it's all sorted in time.

Yay!

I never have a sensible response to complex real estate projects and stuff. So beyond my awareness.

But I know it makes you happy, every step. It's inspiring in that way!
